Photo Album
Yesterday, while walking along the beach in Biloxi, I spied this photo album. Most of the pockets are filled with sand instead of photos. I don't know if it is part of the debris that is still being washed ashore 19 months after Hurricane Katrina. But I do know that thousands upon thousands of homes were washed away by Katrina and with those homes went photos which contained lifetimes of memories. One person, who lost his home and his office buildings found out I was taking pictures of his oyster boats. He asked if he could have copies. So, I'm taking more photos of his boats and will be passing them on to him and his family. He built those boats. He is rebuilding his home and he and his family are rebuilding their business offices.
