The first picture is the on the north side and the entrance to the law offices. The second is the south side, facing the beach. This office building is located in downtown Gulfport. It was built in 1902 and had withstood many vicious hurricanes throughout its history. But like many buildings and homes on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, it did not withstand Hurricane Katrina's wrath.
The bottom was submerged by the storm surge and the top floor succumbed to Katrina's winds.
