On August 29, 2005, Hurricane Katrina slammed into my hometown of Gulfport. I was one of the 3,000 lucky homeowners who didn't file an insurance claim. Hurricane Katrina whipped the soffit and fascia of the south and east sides of my home. During the weekend of March 19, 2009, I was finally able to have my home repaired. I grabbed my camera when I saw the silhouette created through the linen curtains.
