Hurricane Katrina - 2 Years

I created this video from photographs I've taken over the past 9 months. It chronicles the spirit of the Mississippi Gulf Coast in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. There is still a lot of work to be done but our hope and determination remain as strong as the storm surge and winds that took so much away.

Holding Back

These two boys were making discoveries along the beach. A crab was spied and the older child made sure the younger one didn't go into the water.

Bad Hair Day

Temperatures close to 100 and humidity at 80% will play havoc with your hair or feathers.

Stuck in the Mud

A brown ibis searching for fiddler crabs. The crabs hid in the mud when the tide starts coming in.
